FMCG WHOLESALE VIETNAM SUPPLIER, One-Stop for All FMCG Wholesale Needs in Vietnam
1. 7UP- the soft drink brand was once made from carbonated orange juice
Charles Leiper Grigg, the founder of the 7Up brand, worked for a carbonated orange juice company as an advertising and marketing executive. However, when work was not going well, he left to start his own brand of orange-flavored fizzy drink, dubbed "Howdy."
Orange Crush, unfortunately, is Howdy's competitor. Then Howdy failed because the drink only included the essential oil in the orange peel, which was insufficient to compete with competitors who constantly emphasized the need of Vitamin C in everyday diets.
Following that, Grigg concentrated on another area, spending more than two years experimenting with various formulations. He came up with the name "Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda," which was ultimately simplified to "7Up Soda” and finally changed to “7Up”.
2. 7UP is a soft drink brand that can help you feel better
Lithium citrate is present in 7Up's original composition. This medication is known for its ability to lift one's spirits. This was one of the factors that contributed to 7Up's initial success. However, official law prohibiting the use of lithium in soft drinks was introduced in 1948. With an effort to deliver "all-natural" drinks to consumers, 7Up without lithium was launched.
3. 7UP- No one knows where the name 7Up originates
Although many people are aware that the drink's name is reduced to 7Up, no one is certain where the term originated or what it implies. There are, however, a couple of theories that suggest:
Sugar, carbonated water, essences of lemon and lime oil, citric acid, sodium citrate, and lithium citrate are the only ingredients in the original 7Up formula. Lithium was once thought to be a useful element for improving mood, which is how "Up" earned its name. Furthermore, according to another explanation, the word "Up" refers to the bubbles that form when soda is consumed.
- 7Up was first sold in a 7-ounce bottle when it was first launched on the FMCG market. The majority of competitor soft drinks are packaged in 6-ounce bottles.
- Another suggestion is that 7Up is a coded reference for lithium (the original ingredient in this extraordinary soft drink)-lithium has an atomic mass of approximately 7.
4. 7UP- Beating over thousands of competitors to become the best-selling beverage wholesale FMCG products
Today, there are a plethora of lemon-flavored soda drinks to choose from. There are lots of different forms of lemon-flavored drinks known as lemon soda, according to estimates. 7UP has worked hard to earn a place in the list of FMCG companies in Vietnam about soft drink and consumed lemon-flavored beverages.
